August 26th, Coast Rifle and Pistol Club in Woolmarket.
Registration starts at 5:30pm, hammer down at 6pm.
2 Stages – 1 Field course and 1 Classifier.
Less than 50 rounds.
Match fee is $5.
Open to public. Use gate code 4000 to enter range.

This month’s match will be remembered as a five great stages, well worth the August heat and rain.  This month we had 46 entries and as hot and wet as it was, everyone had their usual good time.  We tried very hard this month to give you a good combination of “Slow and Accurate” and “Run and Gun”.  We are going to do our best to make the match an even challenge for everyone’s strengths….and weaknesses.

This was the first month we scored the match completely electronically.  Each scorekeeper used a Nook and all the scores were compiled together at the end of the match.  Although there were a few bumps getting started, once everyone got the hang of it, the match went surprisingly smooth.  All in all, this will go down as another great match and it can all be attributed to you.  Thanks for all your help and support.

Stages are set for Saturday.  This month we are going to score the match electronically using our new Nooks and Practiscore software.   We are going to need a little help, so if anyone has experience scoring using the Nooks at other clubs, and are willing to help us out, please let us know when you sign up.  Even if you have no experience, but willing to lend a hand, let us know that also … we will give you the 10 minute class and you to will be a Practiscore Professional.  Match sign-up begins at 8:15 – Safety Briefing and Hammer Down at 9:00.   This month’s stages can be previewed by clicking on the stage icon below. With this latest deluge and the radar showing another squall line heading our way, we really have no choice but to cancel today’s match. See you Saturday, August 10th ….

As of 1:00 today (22 July) we are still planning to hold today’s match. We are going to have someone check the range at about 3:00 to determine if the range conditions will be safe. We will post again by 4:00 with a final assessment.

July’s BPSA Saturday Pistol match is history and everyone had a great time. As hard as we tried to finished up before the afternoon deluge, we had one squad still shooting when the rains began.  We had 53 shooters, 5 great stages and a perfect match.  Congratulations to our winners….

June’s 4th-Monday match is in the history books and everyone had a great time. We had 25 shooters, 3 stages, and exactly 50 rounds of fun. The timing was perfect…we finished up just as dark was setting in. Thanks for all the help setting-up and breaking-down. Congratulations to our winners….
