Halloween Concealed Carry match in Biloxi
A concealed carry match will be held in Biloxi at the Coast Rifle and Pistol Club on October 31, 2021. This is NOT a USPSA match, but it will be for concealed carry guns shooting from concealment only. Basics rules are as follows:
- All guns must be shot from cover. No open carry is allowed. A safe holster is required, no pocket carry without a pocket style holster that covers the trigger. USPSA safety rules will apply during the match. Make sure your gun(s) is unloaded before you arrive.
- Scoring will be Hit Factor (points divided by time).
- USPSA style targets (paper and steel) will be scored Minor power factor for all guns.
- 5 stages of fire with 2 strings per stage for most stages.
- 6 round limit per string, so no on the clock reloads required (except for small revolvers).
Shooters will be allowed to enter up to two different guns. Match fees are $5 for CRPC members and $10 for non-members. Second guns are $5 for everyone. The match starts at 9 am.

Morgan Leonhardt – 2021 Ladies National Champion in Carry Optics

Local shooter Morgan Leonhardt is the 2021 USPSA Ladies National Champion in Carry Optics. Although just 14 years old, she is seasoned beyond her years. She started shooting 3-gun and USPSA in 2017 and started focusing on USPSA more this year. With her Glock Carry Optics pistol, she finished 2nd in A class (men and women), was High Junior (men and women) and took the top spot for all ladies at the 2021 Blue Bullets PCC and Carry Optics Nationals in Talladega, AL. Congratulations, Morgan! A special congratulations also goes to her trainer/coach and most importantly, super-proud dad, Kevin.
2021 MS Steel Challenge Championship in Hattiesburg Oct. 22-24, 2021

The 2021 Mississippi Steel Challenge Championship starts in just two weeks in Hattiesburg. The match is sponsored by Tippman Arms and features lots of great prizes.

October 2021 Biloxi USPSA pistol match
Registration is open and slots are available for this month’s USPSA match, presented by the Deep South Shooters Association. The match will take place at the Coast Rifle and Pistol Club in Biloxi on October 17, 2021. Shooting begins at 9 AM. Please arrive no later than 8:30 AM to check in and pay, but earlier is always better.
Juniors shoot for free, CPRC members shoot for $15, all others shoot for $20.

October 2021 3-Gun match in Poplarville **Rescheduled**

The match originally scheduled for October 3, 2021 has been postponed to October 17, 2021, due to the weather and road conditions. The match starts at 9 AM at the range in Poplarville. This match will feature two divisions. The two divisions will be Run What You Brung and PCC only. Run what you brung will allow you to shoot whatever rifle, pistol or shotgun you want on whatever stage. Normally, you can’t change guns during the match but this month, you can shoot a bolt gun with a big scope on long range stages and your AR on close hoser stages. The PCC only division is also for PCC only shooters. Plus first-time shooters shoot FREE!,
