BPSA October Rifle Only Results

November 2015 Poplarville 3-Gun match reminder

** The weather is not looking good for this weekend, so please check back here before coming out. If the forecasts are correct, there is a 100% chance of rain Saturday and 90% for Sunday. If it does rain Saturday, then the road will likely be impassible, so please make sure you check here for any news about the match **
The South Mississippi Practical Shooting Association will host the monthly 3-Gun match this Sunday (November 1, 2015) at the range in Poplarville. The match will begin at 9 AM.

BPSA Rifle Only Match
October 31st, BPSA will be holding a RIFLE ONLY match.
Five stages similar to those we normally shoot in our pistol matches, but using rifles instead. Two divisions, rifle and 22lr rifle.
.223/.308/pistol carbines all welcome. Irons or optics all shoot same division. Recommend 20+ mag capacity. Chamber flags required.
Scoring is time plus with points, just like Poplarville 3gun if you’ve shot it before.

October 2015 Pearlington (Swamp Eagles) pistol match results
Sometimes, things just go right. Today, we set a record for shooter count in Pearlington. The great weather, no Saints game and the last practice match before the Gator all combined to get 65 shooters out today. There were a few brand new shooters, and we thank you for coming and hope you will return. The idea today was to be a little more challenging than normal. Several of the regulars had shot the Nationals the week before and discovered that we don’t set up stages that are challenging enough. So, today, we kinda pushed it a bit more towards the hard side. The only downside today was the bottleneck that developed around the classifier which resulted in several squads having to wait to shoot there.

BPSA October 2015 Pistol Match Results
This month we had 53 shooters come out to shoot a special six stage all classifier match. The weather couldn’t have been better, and it was a great match. Thanks to everyone who pre-registered and made the match signup go smoothly.
