October 2014 Pearlington pistol match results

October 19, 2014 2 comments

Sorry for the late results today. There were some issues with syncing the scores and it took until this evening to get things completed. However, the results will be worth the wait. There were 45 shooters today and near perfect weather. As the last match before the Gator next weekend, many of the competitors looked to get that last bit of practice in. Hopefully, you paid attention today if you are shooting the Gator…

And now, on to the results. Our match winner and Open division winner was Read more…

Dawson PrecisionThe weather was once again a factor, but somewhat unexpectedly this month. While the past weekend was perfect weather at the 3-gun match, this weekend was Summer-like hot. But it didn’t deter the 18 shooters from having a good time today. Once again, the stages pushed everyone to the limit and sometimes beyond. The mix ranges from 8 shots to 36 shots. There was also lots of movement. Challenging, but fair was the best was to describe today’s stages.

After the scores had been tallied, the results spoke for themselves. Our overall winner and Open division winner was Read more…

BPSA October Pistol Match Results

I venture to day that the 53 shooters will all agree that today’s match was a good challenge.  We wanted to do something special this month so we dug out every piece of steel we had!  For most of us, stage 5 was a humbling experience with 23 pieces of steel, to include our brand new Plate Rack and the Texas star.  To top it off, the single paper target was on a swinger that had to be engaged on the swing.  Today’s division winners definitely earned their titles and we congratulate you for outstanding performances.

This month we had 46 of the 53 shooter’s pre-register and that really helped save us time getting everything setup and started.   If you didn’t pre-register, you need to get on board…..pre-registering gives you opportunity to pre-squad with your friends and saves you having to fill out all your info the morning of the match.  The pre-registration link is on each month’s match announcement.   Look for it!!

We would like to thank everyone who came out today and I want to especially thank everyone who helped set-up and those of you who helped break down. We appreciate it more than you can ever imagine.

As always, if anyone ever has an idea for a stage, you are welcome to come on out and have at it. Just let us know and we will reserve a bay for you. We will appreciate the help and you may just have a talent for stage design that you just don’t know about yet.

Again and as usual, thanks for all your help and support. Without you, we could not make this all happen!

Again, congratulations to this month’s winners….

October Poplarville 3-gun match results

Mother Nature was kind to us today with the weather being almost completely opposite of the stifling heat from last month. The temperature was around 68 at match time and the entire day was pleasant with abundant sunshine and light breezes. Elven shooters showed up today and were treated to four great stages. We ventured back into the gulley for the first time in quite a while, and played a bit of hide and seek with the paper targets in the east side bay. The ravines made great cover for the brown targets who blended in quite well with their surroundings. Two flying clay pigeon targets rounded things out for a great match.

The match went down to the wire and we crowned a new first-time champ today. In the top spot was Read more…
