South Mississippi Practical Shooting

Good weather made for a good turnout. All week, the weatherman promised rain for today, but fortunately, he was wrong. It was dry, cool and a bit windy. No one complained as 26 shooters came out for the final match of the year. Some great stages made for great shooting and great help in tearing down meant we posted results by 12:15 PM or so.

The South Mississippi Practical Shooting Association will host the monthly pistol match this Sunday (December 13, 2015) at the range in Poplarville. The match will begin at 9 AM.

After losing both the 3-Gun and USPSA pistol in November to rain, today was just about perfect, weather-wise. Unfortunately, only nine shooters thought it was good enough to actually come out and shoot. But all of them had a great time. There were four great stages, highlighted by the shotgun extravaganza, also known as Stage 2.
