South Mississippi Practical Shooting

After losing both the 3-Gun and USPSA pistol in November to rain, today was just about perfect, weather-wise. Unfortunately, only nine shooters thought it was good enough to actually come out and shoot. But all of them had a great time. There were four great stages, highlighted by the shotgun extravaganza, also known as Stage 2.

At the end of the match, there was just one man left standing. He won three of the four stages, and the overall match. The honors today go to Justin Myers. It wasn’t particularly close, as second was a whole bunch behind. As the day wore on, the penalties mounted. By the last stage, only 2 of the 9 shooters managed to shoot clean.

A special thanks goes out to everyone for helping tear everything down. By getting each stages as it was completed, it made the pickup go much quicker.
