South Mississippi Practical Shooting

The weather should be great this weekend for the next installment of 3-gun in Poplarville. The match date is Sunday, October 1, 2017. If you have been shooting 3-Gun in Biloxi and are bummed out at the loss of that match, consider Poplarville as an alternative. It’s definitely NOT 3 Gun Nation, but instead, traditional 3-Gun action with more challenging and sometimes long range stages. It is not a physical challenge where you have to drag dummies across the field, but you will have to move. Stages times can range from 20 to 180 seconds. It just depends on the stage. We might shoot rifles out to 300 yards, but not always. We typically don’t require you to sling long guns, but do normally stage them in barrels.
