November 2018 Poplarville 3-Gun match reminder
This weekend, it’s 3-gun in the woods of Poplarville! The match will be this coming Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 9 AM. Expect four stages, with some long rifle shots. All those participating will get an extra hour of sleep Saturday night, courtesy of the end of Daylight Saving Time. Don’t forget to set your clocks BACK one hour Saturday night. If you do forget, you might get there in time to help staple up some targets!

4.5. All ammo, magazines, and gear used on a stage will be carried throughout the course of fire, with the exception of firearms and magazines abandoned as part of the stage. All ammo and gear will be carried on or in a belt, bag, or gear intended to carry it. Ammunition and magazines may be carried in the pockets of clothing. No ammunition or magazines shall be held in any part of the body before the start signal.

You are right, the rule is there. However, there is no prescribed penalty, so we should address this oversight.
