July 2017 Brothers N Arms USPSA Pistol Match Results

The day dawned a bit foggy and very overcast, which actually kept the temps moderate and made for a great start for 38 shooters at today’s match.  Also, for the first time, we opened up membership to our USPSA chapter and we sincerely thank all who took advantage of the offer.  Your support is much appreciated and will make the club even better as we move forward!!

Even with all of the recent rain, the range conditions were more than acceptable.  The stages had a great combination of movement and round count and everyone loved the “Burn ’em Down” stage in bay 5.  At the end of the day, Open shooters ruled the day, taking 7 of the top 10 spots.  The match winner

and top Open shooter was Max Michel, though the number one Limited shooter, David Pape, was less than 3% behind.  Russ Smith was number 9 overall and took the top spot in Carry Optics.  Kalyn Ulmer, Nick Brandt, and Tom Duchmann rounded out the division winners in Production, Single Stack, and PCC, respectively.  Full scores can be found on Practiscore and USPSA.

Reminder, we are planning a Special Classifier Match for August.  We anticipate having 6 Classifiers set up, so if you were wanting to get that classification in PCC or CO or any other division, and didn’t want to spend months getting it, this is your chance to get it done in one day.  Feel free to shoot more than one division, as long as you don’t shoot more than two!
