South Mississippi Practical Shooting

Are you interested in shooting the 2023 Carry Optics Nationals in Marengo, Ohio? The match dates are June 23-25, 2023. The Mississippi Section has received 3 slots for this match and they will be awarded to shooters who are members of the Mississippi Section who competed in local MS matches in 2022 or out of state residents who also supported our local matches last year.

You also have to pay for the match, even with a slot code. And, even if you do not get a slot code, you will still be able to register for the actual match starting March 10, 2023 at 7:00 pm EST when general registration starts.

You can request one slot for this match in Carry Optics. No other divisions will be recognized in this match.

The request period will open at 5 PM on December 18, 2022 and close at 5 PM on January 17, 2023. Shortly after that, the codes will be awarded based on the Section bylaws. If you request and receive a slot, it must either be used by you or returned to the Section. It cannot be transferred to anyone else, even someone in our Section. Important Dates:

December 18, 2022 – Requests for Mississippi Section slots for Carry Optics Nationals begins

January 17, 2023 – Request period ends

January 19, 2023 – Slots awarded to shooters (no later than date)

January 20, 2023 – Registration for the matches begins at 7:00 PM EST for slot code recipients

June 23, 2023 – Carry Optics Nationals match starts
