South Mississippi Practical Shooting

Registration will open at 7 PM CDT on August 18, 2020 for this month’s USPSA match, presented by the Deep South Shooters Association. The match will take place at the Coast Rifle and Pistol Club in Biloxi on August 23, 2020. Shooting begins at 9 AM. Please arrive no later than 8:30 AM to check in and pay, but earlier is always better.

Juniors shoot for free, CPRC members shoot for $15, all others shoot for $20.

NOTE:

The monthly DSSA USPSA match is held at the Coast Rifle and Pistol Club in Woolmarket, MS. USPSA rules require all matches be open to any member of the public that can legally possess a firearm. Therefore, the range must follow the Executive Orders of the Governor of the State of Mississippi when serving the public in general and hosting USPSA matches specifically. The orders currently in place requires all attendees of public outdoor gatherings to either A) wear a mask, or B) maintain social distance separation to anyone other than persons living in the same household.

In order to limit the group sizes, we are limiting squads to 10 (or less). Since we have only 5 bays available, this means 5 squads. Registration is capped at 50 shooters. We will not be able to accommodate shooters beyond this number.

If you attend this match, you will be asked to maintain social distance between you and anyone that DOES NOT live in the same house as you, OR to wear a mask. If you cannot agree to this requirement, we ask that you do not register for this match. Coast Rifle and Pistol requires that we follow the Orders of the Governor while we are guests in their facility. If we are unable to follow these rules, we may find that our future range privileges are revoked. We appreciate your cooperation.

If you do register and later find that you are unable to attend, please use your Practiscore dashboard to request your withdrawal from the match so your spot can be used by someone else.

The wait list will allow shooters to stand by for the match, and any shooters cleared to shoot will receive an email confirmation of their status. However, if you show up for the match and have not been cleared to shoot, you may not be offered a spot. It will be strictly limited to 50 shooters.
