December Brothers N Arms USPSA Pistol Match Results
Baby, it was cold outside!!
The clouds kept things pretty chilly right up til the very end of today’s match, but 39 shooters still came out and by all accounts, a great time was had by all! Registration actually got close to 60 shooters at one point, but it looks like the flu is everywhere, judging by the number of withdrawals due to illness. The six stages moved well and provided a good mix of fast movement and strategy. The classifier, Down the Middle, proved to be challenging for most, with a total of 25 shooters having one or more Mikes. At the end of the day, though, one shooter stood head and shoulders above the rest!
John Nguyen was the undeniable winner both overall and in the Open division, and by almost 6% in both cases. Steve Tannetta walked away with the win in Limited and took number three overall. Steven Mosher rounded out the top five overall and was the decisive winner in Production. Max Michel, Sr. was first in the Carry Optics division and Bryant Willett took top honors in PCC. Single Stack was a blow out, with William Davenport winning by an almost 22% margin.
As always, we had awesome volunteers for both set up and tear-down. A huge thanks to all of you who make the choice to hang around long after you have finished shooting to help break down stages and store props. I need to extend a very special thank you to David “Belly-Flop” Bernardi (ask him if you don’t understand the reference, you’ll enjoy the story). Most of you probably haven’t noticed how incredibly organized our storage unit has been the past two months, but Bernardi has taken it on as his personal mission to make sure there is a place for everything and that everything is in it’s place. This is an incredible help during set-up and makes tear down a much more smooth and efficient procedure. Do me a favor – shake his hand and tell him thanks the next time you see him.

Great match and great stages. Went real smooth and had a great time, thanks to all those who make it possible. We also saw the belly-flop from two squads over and it actually looked like he did it on purpose, great recovery if not.
Thanks for coming out bud, very happy that you enjoyed it. And seriously, ask him about it. If you saw it happen, the facts will only make it better!!
