Brothers N Arms Memorial Day Weekend USPSA Pistol Match Resuts

Though a bit on the humid side, we were blessed with great weather and an even greater turnout for today’s match.  Thanks to the sixty shooters that came out to the Brothers N Arms Range to kick off their holiday weekend and to support our club, including Steven and Sloan Sanders of Team Precision Delta.  Sloan recently took third place in Women’s Open Division at the IPSC National Championship and the USPSA National Championship, as well as being the 2015 Florida Open Lady’s Open Champion.  Steven currently holds a Grand Master classification in USPSA Limited division, and has set his goals high for the 2016 season.  The Sanders were by no means the only shooters of note, making the match that much more fun for all the new folks to the sport like myself!

Mr. Sanders was the overall match winner along with taking top honors in the Limited division, both by a convincing margin.
Stephen Lasavia followed up his win in Poplarville last weekend with a first place finish in the Open division, though Sloan Sanders was close on his heels. Michael McDonald was both strong and stylish , winning the Production division with a sharp-looking loaner Springfield XDm in pink borrowed from Jeff Blitch’s daughter. Nick Saucier shot a great match and took first in Single Stack.  Complete scores can be found here.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone for taking the time to help break everything down at the end of the day.  At our level, this sport is nothing if not a labor of love and we could not hold our matches without the support of our volunteers. Our next match is June 25th.  Hope to see you there!

Thanks for the correction! And the nickname. Wish I could say it was the first time it had been used….

I really enjoyed the match yesterday and everyone I spoke to did as well. I was amazed at how smoothly things went knowing that this was only the club’s second USPSA match ever. I was asked repeatedly by the match staff to let them know if I saw anything that could be improved upon, but there really wasn’t much I would tweak. I’d like to congratulate you and the rest of the guys on a well run match and I look forward to shooting at Brother N Arms again soon.

“Its” without the apostrophe is actually the possessive pronoun which is incorrect in this instance. With proper punctuation and capitalization, it should have read “It’s Precision Delta numnuts, not delta precision”. If you’re going to go all “Internet Commando” calling someone names when they just busted their butt to put on something for the enjoyment of others, you should probably make sure you’re all squared away first. Also, neener-neener.
